Branding done for the wedding of Ad film maker Kartik Ramnathkar and actor Sanyukta Timsina. The wedding invite and assets had to feel traditional, yet modern. For colour, they had a strong preference for saffron.

This project was commissioned by Bhupal Ramnathkar, founder of Umbrella Design Studio; father of the groom.

A mix of modern and traditional typefaces, juxtaposition of french toile patterns in the indian wedding context with solid backgrounds and ample white space helped bring this vision to life. The wordmark was created along with a nepalese typographer, it was later refined to create a more balanced unit.
